It is about the popular LADIES SPECIAL train that runs during the peak working hours from one end of the metropolis to the other. Ladies Special is an extraordinary story of 4 ordinary women commuters at different stages of their lives, from diverse backgrounds – who overcome their struggles to emerge winners. Ladies Special is their journey of troubles & triumphs, happiness and hope. Set against the backdrop of Indian railways, the lifeline of India’s biggest metropolis, Mumbai, the four women – Shubha Joshi (Neena Gupta), Nanda Shinde (Shilpa Tulaskar), Pooja Singh (Payal Sarkar) & Bubbly Chaddha (Ashita Dhawan) meet in the Ladies Special train, which has become their own world, a place where they find their space, a place where they can be themselves and share some blissful moments away from home.
